The Behringer Deepmind 12 Desktop Module incorporates all the major features of the original Deepmind 12 synthesizer into a compact, desktop module; ideal for studio sessions and live performances. The Deepmind 12 Desktop Synth is a 12-voice analog polysynth that offers a diverse range of high-quality algorithms, created alongside world-class audio professions. Integrating high-quality components with customisable functions, the Deepmind 12 Desktop Polysynth uses its two digital controlled oscillators and two LFOs per voice to deliver a diverse sound palette. With three envelopes for a further level of control and adjustment of your audio, the Behringer DeepMind 12 is ideal for studio and recording work, whilst offering a completely unique and innovative approach to live performance work.
An integrated 32-step control sequencer with adjustable slew rate and MIDI sync gives you the ability to create complex rhythms and patterns on the fly, ideal for creating synth runs, rhythms tracks and more. The 8-channel modulation matrix opens up a world of possibilities when it comes to your effects, allowing you to do everything from modulating reverb tails to controlling the compressor via the mod wheel. 19 modulation sources with more than 130 destinations are included to provide in-depth modulation control, with press and hold short cuts making it easier than ever before to control your effects. The modulation sources can be mapped across more than 30 destinations, giving you limitless options when it comes to controlling your effects.
World-Class FX Engines
At the heart of the Deepmind 12 Desktop Module is 4 simultaneous FX engines, with over 33 world-class algorithms from the worlds leading audio professionals. The included algorithms were created by companies such as TC Electronic, Midas and Klark Teknik, offering a range of premium-grade effects you can use on the fly. The effects include Reverb, Delay, Chrous, Multiband Distortion, Phaser, Flanger and more. The custom-design and physically modelled effects are based on the most renowned FX processors in the music world. The ultra-low latency performand flexbile routing only serves to boost the desktop modules’ performance, giving you in-depth control over all your sounds.
Design & Connectivity
The highly compact design of the Deepmind 12 Desktop Module makes it ideal for both studio and live performances, giving you all the major functions from the original in a convenient desktop unit. The lightweight and robust design is based on the original keyboard synthesizer, with rich wooden side panels that add a touch of class to the sleek aesthetic. The rear of the module features a range of connectivity including balanced L/R outputs, Phones, Sustain, Pedal/CV and MIDI I/O for optimal versatility. With its ability to accept CV and MIDI connections, the Deepmind 12 Desktop Module can easily be used with your favourite DAW, ideal for digital musicians.
