Build detailed bass patches with ease
The B2 Four gives you a straightforward way to shape your sound using a large selection of effects and amp models. With 104 effects available, including preamps and models inspired by well-known pedals, you can create tones that suit a wide range of playing styles. You are able to combine up to five effects and amps within a single patch, keeping your setup compact while still offering flexibility.
The B2 Four also includes a range of preamp options, including original designs that focus on maintaining clarity when blending clean and driven signals. Controls are simple to adjust using the rotary encoders, so you can quickly refine your sound without interrupting your flow.
Experience natural amp response at any level
Multi-Layer IR technology allows the B2 Four to recreate the behaviour of real bass cabinets in a more detailed way. Instead of relying on a single static response, it uses multiple impulse captures taken at different output levels.
These layers are triggered based on how loudly you play, helping your tone retain its depth and balance. This is particularly useful when moving between practice and performance environments, as your sound remains consistent. With 11 amp and cabinet models included, you can explore a variety of classic bass tones while keeping everything contained in one unit.
Connect confidently in any setup
The B2 Four is designed to fit easily into both live and studio environments. Its six DI models allow you to tailor your direct signal depending on your needs. Tube-style options introduce warmth and added harmonic detail, while solid-state models provide cleaner tones with controlled dynamics.
A balanced output lets you connect straight to a PA system or audio interface, helping maintain signal quality. Stereo outputs are also included for connecting to amplifiers. The adjustable input impedance supports both standard bass guitars and upright instruments with piezo pickups, giving you a cleaner and more accurate signal when switching between instruments.
Practise record and expand your setup
This unit includes practical tools to support your day-to-day playing. The 60 second looper allows you to build layered ideas, which is useful for developing timing and experimenting with new parts. Alongside this, 68 built-in rhythm patterns provide a simple backing for practice sessions.
The B2 Four can also function as a 2-in 2-out USB audio interface, so you can record directly to a computer or smartphone using your chosen tones. When you want to expand your options, the dedicated app gives access to additional patches and effects, helping you keep your sound fresh over time.
