Thin Body, Plenty of Projection
Washburn's Festival series of acoustics feature a body shape similar to the jumbo, and Nuno's signature acoustic is designed with a thin-line version for extra comfort. Plenty of projection, deep bass tones, and excellent versatility are what you'll find from this body shape. Its smooth high-end works well with its powerfully rich low-end, letting you get that punchy sound for a heart pounding experiance.
Offers a Beautifully balanced and Versatile Performance
While pau ferro is now mostly used on fingerboard as a replacement for rosewood, don't let that trick you into thinking its tone is something less. Beautifully warm and full of rich characters, the pau ferro is perfect for a body wood, offering a neutral sound that lets the top wood's tones shine. The Festival EA20S is equipped with a classic spruce top, the most commonly used top wood for its excellent resonance and broad dynamic range. This gives you an incredibly versatile performance, its crisp sound and sonic depth will accommodate a wide variety playing style and musical genre.
An Incredibly Smooth and Comfortable Playing Feel
A satin finished mahogany neck is also added, increasing the body's resonance and enhancing the G26SCE's overall warmth. Since the neck features a satin finish, your hand will slide smoothly across the neck in any environment, unlike gloss finished necks which can cause your hand to stick when performing in humid climates. You also receive a smooth playing feel from the ovangkol fingerboard, letting you fingers glide with ease for stunning slides and string bends.
For extra playing comfort, the Festival body features the uncommon Florentine cutaway. This type of cutaway is characterised by its deep cut and sharp point. This not only provides unobstructed access to the higher frets and a comfortable playing feel, it also creates a visually stunning aesthetic.
Enhanced for the Studio and Stage
The addition of Fishman's Presys 301T electronics lets you take your performance to the stage and studio without the need to mic up. Simply connect a jack cable and then your free to focus on your performance. While the undersaddle pickup captures the Washburn's natural tones and character, the on-board control section lets you adjust and fine-tune your sound for a variety of settings. You can also use the phase switch to remove unwanted noise during live situations, ensuring you'll always deliver a beautifully crisp performance.
Another great feature of the Fishman preamp is its in-built tuner. Just hit the tuner button to active it and tune away. This lets you always keep the Washburn Woodline in tune and is also a great way to change tunings on the fly. Ideal if you need different tunings for different songs when playing live.
