Loaded at the neck and bridge positions of the Vintage V72H Custom Spec Hardtail are Wilkinson WHHB Double Coil pickups. They produce a magnificent warm tone that encompasses plenty of crunch in the low end whilst also showcasing gorgeous, defined highs. Paired with the open, airy sound of a semi-hollow body, these pickups thrive. The low output of the neck pickup was a conscious decision for this model and it teams perfectly with the high output of the bridge, giving you amazing versatility.
If legendary tone isn't enough, the controls on this guitar allow for even more sonic creativity. Explore the possibilities of each pickup or combine them any way you please using the 3-way pickup selector. The choice is all yours. Better still, sculpt with incredible precision via the tone and volume controls.
A neck with infinite potential
If you’re going to show off unashamedly, you'll want a slick neck and fretboard that will do you justice. Crafted from maple, the neck is not only sturdy, but also improves tonal qualities with great effect. It is the ideal wood for gigging with thanks to its high density which lends itself to quick note decay, resulting in minimal feedback and glistening clarity. Even when you're strumming, every note will ring out separately and gloriously. Mounted onto such an exquisite neck is the lignum rosa fretboard, another enticing feature of this guitar. Its smooth finish accommodates anything from ferocious riffing to magnificent blues solos.

Crafted from American alder, the body of the V72H showcases a semi-hollow design that allows for wondrous, full-bodied sound. Every note will be amazingly defined whilst a sea of resonance flows beneath thanks to the 'F' shaped sound hole. A maple top then brings incredible attributes that ensure only a sublime sound will be emanated, no muddiness will be heard.
