TC Electronic's IMPULSE is an IR loader designed to ensure your guitar rig sounds brilliant - here, there, anywhere. IR files are used to simulate the sound of speaker cabs, acoustic guitars and more. You'll never be uncertain about your setup again with IMPULSE at your side.
TC Electronic have prioritised making IR files easy to work with - all you have do is drag and drop. You might not own your favourite guitar amp, but as long as you can find an IR for it, you can get its sound with ease. With IMPULSE, you can use DIs knowing your guitar will sound just as good as it would through an amp.

An impulse response (IR) captures sonic characteristics, in case of cab amps, so that it can be applied to a sound. Normally IRs are difficult to work with, and even experts need tons of training to work with them.
Luckily IMPULSE makes working with IRs a breeze. TC Electronic's dedicated IR organiser allows you to sort through your different sounds, and upload them to IMPULSE with ease. You can even drag and drop IR files over USB, making custom cab simulation easier than ever.Reviews
