View Full DescriptionThe Bass VI has a few modern touches designed to make the instrument more comfortable to play including a modern C neck and 9.5" fingerboard radius (the originals were 7.25"). The unique tone comes from three custom Jaguar single coil pickups with notched claw shielding rings (reverse wound/reverse polarity middle pickup).
The Bass VI has a classic 30" scale with standard tuning one octave lower than a guitar and a bound Rosewood fingerboard with 21 medium jumbo frets marked with pearloid block inlays. Four two position sliders switches give you on and off control for each pickup plus a bass-cut strangle tone circuit switch. The bridge is vintage style six saddle and has a non-locking floating tremolo. A three ply white-black-white pickguard and two black plastic control knobs for master volume and master tone finish this retro beauty off nicely.
