The Squier by Fender Vintage Modified Bass VI in a 3-tone Sunburst is a six-string bass guitar and a reissue of a long-vanished Fender classic, with a few modern touches for extra comfort. Three single-coil jaguar pickups deliver incredibly clear, clean sounds, while the vintage-style bridge produces incredible pitch shifting effects. A basswood body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard create a visually stunning instrument, and provides a comfortably smooth playing experience. Producing the same distinctively-voiced low end, tuned one octave lower than a guitar, the Vintage Modified Bass VI is perfect for any Fender Fan's collection.

The Vintage Modified Bass VI is distinguised from the original by its comfortable "modern C" shaped neck and 9.5" fingerboard radius as opposed to the original's 7.25". It boasts three custom Jaguar single-coil pickups with notched "claw" shielding rings. The middle pickup is reverse-wound / reverse-polarity.

The bass has a basswood body, maple neck and rosewood fingerboard with 21 medium jumbo frets. Four two-position slider switches operate as on/off switches for each pickup plus a switch for the bass-cut "strangle" tone circuit. The vintage-style six-saddle bridge has a non-locking floating vibrato.
