Blackjack C-1

The Schecter Blackjack C-1 has a unique pickup combo and fast playing neck specification to deliver rock and metal tones with effortless playability. The mahogany body lends warmth and sustain to your sound, and is comfortably crafted with a set-neck joint to allow easy access to all 24 frets. This guitar is built for metal and rock, with the unique Sustainiac pickup opening the doors to some new sonic areas.

Seymour Duncan Nazgul and Sustainiac Pickups

The Seymour Duncan Nazgul humbucker in the bridge provides the attack and power of an active pickup but with the note definition and subtlety of a passive pickup. It is the ideal unit for drop-tuned riffs that require clarity and articulation.

The Sustainiac pickup in the neck position is a unique device allowing you to sustain a note infinitely (or for as long as the battery has life in it). It includes several toggle switches allowing you to access different harmonic overtones and is the ideal pickup for experimental sound creation.

These two pickups, in combination, give the Blackjack C-1 FR S a unique blend of sound options. In the one guitar, you are given the ability to switch from powerful and articulate bridge tones through to infinitely sustaining soundscapes. This guitar is a unique tool and can provide some real inspiration for your music creation.

Fast Neck Specification

The Blackjack C-1 FR S has a modern neck specification geared towards fast playing. It has a thin 'C' profile that sits comfortably in the hand and a set-neck joint with a low-profile joint. The set-neck "Ultra Access" design and double cutaway body allows you to easily access the whole length of the fingerboard with ease.

The neck is mounted with 24 extra-jumbo frets to provide excellent control of the strings when playing string bends and vibrato. The frets are fixed with a modern 14'' radius allowing a low string action to be setup for easy playability.

Resonant Tonewoods

The Blackjack C-1's body and neck are both crafted from mahogany giving a warm and resonant tonality. When combined with the set-neck construction, these tonewoods give excellent sustain – and that’s before you switch on the Sustainiac pickup. The Blackjack C-1's fingerboard is ebony which provides low-end articulation and a smooth playing surface.

Professional Features

The Blackjack C1 has a Floyd Rose tremolo giving you access to extreme whammy bar tricks, safe in the knowledge that your strings will accurately return to pitch after use. The double locking system provides excellent tuning stability, meaning this guitar will remain in tune during long gigs and heated performances.
