The Amp Academy gives you access to six classic amp sounds from clean US-style combos to aggressive British stacks. Each one is designed to replicate the dynamic feel and tone of real tube amps. These models give you the core of your sound in a portable format. Switch between them instantly and fine-tune each amp with gain, EQ, and master controls.
With onboard IR cabinet simulation, you can shape your sound using matched speaker and mic setups. Load up to 512 third-party IR files for complete tonal control, or use the included options straight away. The Amp Academy also works with NUX’s QuickTone editor, letting you adjust mic position, room ambience, and EQ using a simple drag-and-drop interface.
No need for a pedalboard. The Amp Academy includes mod, delay, reverb, and a switchable boost. You can set these effects up per scene and change scenes quickly. Each one holds unique amp, cab, and effect settings, making it easy to shift from rhythm to lead tones. Tap tempo and trails can also be tailored to how you play.
Dual outputs allow you to send a cab-sim signal to front of house while sending a dry or amp-only signal to a stage amp. A headphone output is available for silent practice, and USB audio makes it easy to record or stream. The routing options give you plenty of flexibility to match your space and gear.
