Equipped with a Fishman Sonitone preamp, this model is ready for live performances and recordings. With this, you are able to adjust your amplified tone effortlessly and precisely. Thanks to the preamp, you are provided with flexibility and a unique tone that accommodates a wide range of genres and playing styles, as you can shape your sound by simply plugging into an amplifier or PA system.
It’s not just the preamp that works to produce such stunning tones. A lot of the tones are produced by the guitar’s wooden construction. The mahogany body delivers a bold yet well-balanced sound, which also provides flexibility. Its spruce top yields a broad dynamic range, with an articulate and responsive sound.
Sculpted for perfection
This model has been crafted with a variety of beautiful tonewoods that all offer their own unique sound. Its body has been sculpted from spruce and HPL, providing you with a bold and great sounding Martin tone with a quality natural finish. HPL makes the guitar extremely durable and resistant to humidity, more so than other solid wood.
Complementing the body are birch and rosewood, further enhancing the overall sound. Martin’s logo has been emblazoned across the rosewood HPL headstock, letting you know this model is serious about its tone, and it oozes premium class and quality.
