The D-X2E Brazilian Sunburst uses Martin’s D-14F Dreadnought body size to deliver the bold projection and strong low-end response associated with a full-sized acoustic. Its solid spruce top provides the foundation for a clear, punchy sound that maintains definition across all six strings. Underneath, scalloped X bracing supports the top, while Brazilian rosewood-patterned HPL is used for the back and sides. Together, these elements give the guitar a powerful acoustic character suited to players looking for plenty of presence alongside clear note definition.

Full-scale playing response

A full 25.4" scale length provides strong string tension and helps notes ring out with articulation, definition, and presence. The select hardwood neck uses Martin’s PA profile and receives a hand-applied finish, creating a practical foundation for everything from open chords to more detailed acoustic parts. A select hardwood fingerboard provides a 1 3/4" width at the nut. Chrome enclosed-gear tuning machines provide straightforward tuning adjustment.
