Martin 00L, Fly Fishing Overview
The Martin 00L Fly Fishing Acoustic is a truly unique and bespoke offering. A guitar that only a handful of people will ever get to play, let alone own. Limited to only 100 units across the globe, this acoustic guitar really is an instrument like no other, topped off with artwork from William Matthews which displays a fisherman with his catch. The top of this guitar is manufactured with Sitka spruce, which, when paired with the rare tiger-striped Goncalo alves back and sides, will create a rich and balanced tone full of resonance and character.
Beneath the surface the X-bracing works to deliver a powerful response which will respond to the dynamics of your playing. The neck is made with high performance taper hardwood and fixed to the body directly with a dovetailed design to increase the resonance and sustain further, as well as contributing to the breathtaking warmth of this guitar's tone. Custom designed and custom made, the 00L Fly Fishing Acoustic comes complete with gold tuners as well as trout and fly pearl inlays on the ebony fingerboard.

The Sitka spruce top pairs Goncalo alves back and sides to create a powerful, responsive low-end and clear yet lively mid-range – with a glorious amount of tonal diversity. The internally scalloped X-bracing moves the soundwaves from the strings through the body to enable a natural resonance which powers through the scaled down body and creates a heavenly sustain, as well as accurately responding to the dynamics of your playing.
Pinpoint intonation is a guarantee with this custom ebony fingerboard, and the 20 frets are marked with pearl inlays, providing a high-class aesthetic that subtly juxtaposes the darker shade of the fretboard. The neck itself is a dovetail modified low oval hardwood build, with high performance taper to enhance playability for a supremely comfortable experience. The one nut works with the ebony bridge to hold your strings in tune and provide a manageable action that will make playing a breeze, no matter what your style is. On the rare occasion your tuning needs a tweak, you can do it in style using the gold open gear tuning machines.
