The Powercab CL 212 gives your modeller the push and bloom of real guitar speakers, not a sterile PA box. Two traditional 12" drivers in an open-back cab move air like a proper amp, while six built-in Speaker Voicings let you land on the character of iconic cones with a quick twist. It’s the immediate, dynamic response players expect on stage, with simple controls that keep setup fast when changeovers are tight.
Direct sound, done right
Sending a consistent signal to front-of-house or a recorder is easy. An XLR out with onboard IR loading carries a separate virtual cab sound, so the room hears a polished mix-ready tone while you enjoy the cab feel on stage. Add a 3-band room EQ to tame boomy or bright venues, and you’ve got a rig that travels well and sounds familiar wherever it lands.
Two ways to run
Pick your mode and go. Speaker Voicing mode shapes the internal drivers so they behave like classic favourites, a great option when you want fast, musical results with minimal menu diving. Prefer your modeller’s cabs and mics? Power Amp In bypasses the voicings for a clean, responsive powered cab experience. Either way, the XLR out can carry your choice of IR, a neutral default, or no IR at all for maximum flexibility in the patch bay.
