Key Features
The Laney Lionheart Foundry Series Supertop is a compact and powerful amp head that provides stage-ready performance in a portable format. Weighing just 7kg, it delivers up to 120W of rich, dynamic tone across two footswitchable channels—Clean and Drive—each with detailed tone shaping, including a three-way Tone Character switch for extra flexibility.
With a footswitchable Boost for an added layer of gain, built-in digital effects, and LA·IR speaker emulation for direct recording or FOH use, it’s a highly adaptable amp head for live, studio, and home use. A low-power mode keeps your tone intact at bedroom levels, while the flexible I/O makes it easy to integrate into any rig.

The Laney Lionheart Foundry Series Supertop 60W Amp Head is built to deliver serious tone in a lightweight format. Weighing just 7kg, it’s significantly more portable than traditional tube amp heads, giving you all the power you need without the bulk. Despite its size, it still offers a full 120 watts of performance-ready output, making it the perfect choice for everything from rehearsals to larger stages.
A standout feature of the Supertop is its footswitchable Boost, effectively acting as a third channel. This function allows you to push your clean tones into warm overdrive or drive tones into singing lead sounds without adjusting your main settings. It’s an incredibly dynamic feature that adds flexibility and adapts to a wide range of genres and playing styles.
Laney’s proprietary LA·IR technology brings studio-quality cabinet emulation straight to your output section. Carefully captured from Laney’s own GS112 and GS412 cabinets, the built-in impulse responses allow you to send an authentic cab-simulated signal directly to a PA or recording interface via the balanced XLR DI out. No microphone setup needed - just plug in and play.
Practising at home doesn’t mean sacrificing your tone. The Supertop includes a low-power mode that reduces output to under 1 watt while retaining the amp’s full tonal character. Perfect for late-night sessions or quiet environments, this feature ensures you can explore your sound without disturbing others.
