Neck-through design for sustain and access

The SLX DX HT uses a neck-through maple construction with a scarf joint and graphite reinforcement to maximise sustain and long-term stability. This design allows string vibration to travel cleanly through the full length of the instrument, improving note clarity and consistency across the fretboard. Combined with the Soloist body’s sculpted contours and deep cutaways, it provides effortless access to the upper frets, making extended lead passages, fast position shifts and technical playing feel smooth and unrestricted.

Fast compound radius fingerboard

A bound laurel fingerboard with a 12 to 16 inch compound radius is engineered for speed and precision. The rounder profile near the nut supports relaxed chording and comfortable rhythm work, while the flatter upper register allows low-action setups and wide bends without fretting out. Twenty-four jumbo frets provide plenty of space for accurate articulation, tapping and expressive vibrato, and pearloid sharkfin inlays ensure clear visual reference during fast playing or low-light stage conditions.
