The SLX DX uses a neck-through maple construction with a tilt-back scarf joint and graphite reinforcement to deliver exceptional strength, sustain and long-term stability. By allowing string vibration to travel uninterrupted from headstock to body, this design improves note clarity and consistency across the entire fretboard. The Soloist body’s sculpted contours and deep cutaways further enhance playability, providing effortless access to all 24 frets. This construction is particularly well suited to fast lead playing, extended techniques and modern metal styles where smooth upper-register access is essential.

Compound radius fingerboard built for shredding

A fully bound laurel fingerboard with a 12 to 16 inch compound radius is engineered for high-speed, low-action performance.
