The SR506A brings six-string versatility into the comfortable, player-friendly SR design. Its slim neck profile and compact body help reduce the intimidation factor often associated with extended-range basses, making it easier to transition from four or five strings. The balanced construction keeps the instrument stable on a strap and comfortable when seated, supporting long rehearsals, studio sessions and live performances without unnecessary strain.

Stable neck built for consistency

The 5-piece roasted maple and walnut neck is heat treated to improve durability, strength and resistance to environmental changes. This helps the neck remain consistent over time, even with regular gigging or travel. Medium frets provide a familiar, controlled playing feel that supports accurate intonation across all six strings. The rosewood fretboard adds warmth and focus, helping notes stay clear and defined throughout the full range.

Clear, controlled electronics across all strings

Bartolini BH2 pickups deliver a tight low end, punchy midrange and smooth overall response, ensuring the low B and high C remain equally usable and balanced.
