The SR505A retains the familiar, comfortable feel that SR basses are known for while adding the flexibility of a low B string. Its slim neck profile and compact body design make it easy to adapt to five-string playing for players moving up from a four-string. The 5-piece roasted maple and walnut neck is heat treated to improve strength, durability and resistance to environmental changes. This construction helps the neck remain consistent over time, reducing the need for frequent setup adjustments.
