Designed in-house by Hartwood’s specialist team, the Novella’s archtop construction features two parallel tone bars running along the centre of the body, reinforcing strength and durability without compromising resonance. Comfortable to hold and easy to navigate thanks to the cutaway design, the Novella is well suited to a wide range of performance environments.
The maple neck features a comfortable “C” profile, making it equally suited to fast lead lines and complex chord voicings. A laurel fretboard with pearl block inlays and 20 jumbo frets provides a smooth playing surface, while the GraphTech NuBone nut, adjustable bridge, and chrome tuners work together to deliver excellent tuning stability. Visually, the single cutaway body is finished with elegant 5-ply cream binding, chrome hardware, and a black scratchplate adorned with the Hartwood emblem.
