Orpheum Series

Guild’s Orpheum Series is a collection of premium acoustic guitars designed to bring historic style to the modern era. The guitars are inspired by instruments of the 1930s-era, which was renowned as the golden age for American luthiers. The woods present clarity and a distinct jangle that can be heard on many classic recordings. The special edition headstock logo, rosette and tuners make the Orpheum Series guitars as stunning to look at as they are to use.

Slope Dreadnought Shape

The slope dreadnought shape is a classic trait of vintage guitars, and has been revived with the 12-fret Orpheum model. The sloped shape gives the guitar a more rounded tone, with harmonic frequencies producing a more swirling resonance. The shape is also complements the player’s body for a more comfortable playing position. The 12-fret join is a seamless transition between neck and body, with the Ebony fingerboard complementing the Adirondack’s clarity.
