Real motor tone
The Gamechanger Audio MOTOR Pedal is a fully playable electro-mechanical synth voice that locks to your pitch in real time, turning a genuine brushed DC motor into an instrument in its own right. This isn't modelling - it's the sound of spinning coils captured by a magnetic pickup, delivering organic grind, metallic overtones and harmonically rich drones that can double your lines or twist them into new shapes.
Hands-free expression
An innovative, spring-loaded accelerator pedal puts expressive control under your foot, so you can shape phrases in the moment. Choose pedal modes like accelerate, brake, clutch, volume swells or drift to nudge, slam or momentarily freewheel the motor for everything from subtle movement to total wipeouts. It's a tactile way to add dynamics, bends and motor "redlines" without touching a control.
Five engines, endless textures
Swap between MOTOR, MXD, M-WAVE, COIL and VOCODER to go from raw electromagnetic bite to cross-mod clang, multitimbral synth tones, resonant coil vibrations and a full 24-band vocoder. Layer in interval shifts (octaves, fourths, fifths), add analogue drive, tilt-EQ, glide, vibrato and envelope control, and you've got a palette that spans tight harmonies, robotic chatter, haunted pads and brutal industrial stabs, all tightly synced to your playing.
Stage-ready connectivity
Drop it anywhere in the chain with IN/OUT plus TRACK IN/OUT for flexible routing, then hook up 5-pin MIDI or USB-C for control and updates. Power it from standard 9V DC (500 mA min), set independent dry and motor volumes, and hit the road knowing the motor module is a replaceable part with a 3,000-5,000 hour lifespan. It's as serviceable as swapping valves in an amp.
