The American Ultra II Stratocaster HSS is designed for maximum tonal versatility, combining Ultra II Noiseless Hot Strat pickups with a powerful Haymaker humbucker in the bridge. The noiseless single-coils retain the clarity, sparkle and articulation of traditional Strat tones, but without the unwanted hum that can interfere with performance. The Haymaker humbucker adds extra output and thickness, making it ideal for heavier tones and lead work. Together, they create a flexible setup that moves easily between clean, detailed sounds and more aggressive, driven tones without sacrificing clarity.
Expanded tonal control with onboard electronics
This model goes beyond traditional Strat controls with the addition of the S-1 switching system and Ultra Blaster preamp. The S-1 switch allows you to split the humbucker, opening up additional single-coil-style tones for even more versatility.
