The Fender Custom Shop '60 Strat is designed to capture the magic of a well-loved vintage instrument, complete with meticulous relic treatment. Paired with aged gold hardware, the guitar presents a high-end aesthetic while staying true to the vibe of a true 1960s Strat. Every inch of wear has been applied by hand at the Fender Custom Shop to capture decades of use.
Premium tonewoods and meticulous construction
This Custom Shop Strat features a carefully selected two-piece alder body, a staple of classic Fender tone. Alder is renowned for its balanced sonic qualities—warm lows, clear mids, and just enough high-end bite to cut through a mix. This is topped with a thin nitrocellulose finish that lets the body resonate more naturally. The neck is made from plain-grain maple and shaped into a comfortable ‘60 Style Oval “C” profile, ideal for both chord work and expressive lead playing.
