The Arrow-400 features a mahogany body shaped to the unmistakable Arrow outline, delivering both visual impact and tonal authority. Mahogany provides a warm, punchy response with strong midrange presence and natural sustain, helping notes remain full and controlled under high gain. The aggressive body shape offers excellent upper-fret access while maintaining balance on a strap, making it well suited to energetic stage performance and technical lead playing.
A set three-piece maple neck enhances sustain and resonance by allowing vibrations to transfer smoothly between neck and body. The extra thin U profile is engineered for speed and comfort, encouraging fast position shifts and reducing hand fatigue during long sessions. A rosewood fingerboard with a 350mm radius provides a familiar, responsive feel that supports both precise rhythm work and fluid lead playing. Twenty-four extra-jumbo frets offer ample space for expressive vibrato, bends and accurate articulation.
The Arrow-400 is equipped with a proven EMG pickup pairing, featuring an EMG 81 in the bridge position and an EMG 85 in the neck. The EMG 81 delivers a tight low end, cutting mids and crisp highs that excel at precise rhythm playing and articulate leads. The EMG 85 provides a warmer, fuller response in the neck position, ideal for smooth solos and powerful clean tones. A simple master volume control and three-way toggle switch keep operation direct and performance-focused.
A Floyd Rose Special double-locking tremolo provides expressive pitch control while maintaining reliable tuning stability during dive bombs, flutters and vibrato techniques. The locking nut works in tandem with the tremolo to keep tuning secure under aggressive playing conditions. Grover tuning machines add further reliability, while durable black hardware complements the Scarlet Metallic finish. Built for regular rehearsal, recording and live use, the Arrow-400 delivers consistency and confidence straight out of the case.
