Alder Body

The Pro Mod DK24 is a supercharged guitar with premium features and exceptional playability. The DK24 features the iconic dinky body shape that is contoured with an excellent neck joint that provides easy playability, comfort, and speed. The body is constructed from alder with a quilted maple top, coated with a stunning root beer burst colour and gloss finish that shines class and professionalism. Charvel are known for their 'modified' aesthetic based on classic guitar designs, alongside sleek paint finishes designed to get you noticed.

Maple Speed Neck With Graphite Reinforcement

The DK24 has a neck specification aimed at high-performance and speed, ideal for the shredding guitarist. The neck itself is a two-piece maple speed neck with graphite reinforcement and rolled fingerboard edges that help you to glide across with comfort and speed. The neck is finished in hand-rubbed urethane gel for sublime, smooth and speedy playability. The fingerboard features 24 jumbo frets with offset dot inlays, offering a rounded tone. The fingerboard is maple and offers 12'' - 16'' compound radius, which sits comfortably in your hand. The heel-mounted spoke wheel allows for quick and easy truss rod tweaks.

Seymour Duncan Pickups

The Pro Mod DK24 is equipped with a versatile Seymour Duncan Full Shred bridge pickup and a Seymour Duncan Jazz neck pickup that gives you access to a wide variety tones. The Full Shred bridge pickup offers a tight low end and scooped mid, and delivers a clear, focused humbucker tone with a nice balanced treble and bass response. The Seymour Duncan Jazz neck pickup offers a glassy treble response and full, tight bass, with scooped mids that help each note to stay clear even under extreme distortion. The shorter Allen head poles and alnico 5 bar magnet brings clarity to the high-end, while keeping the low end tight and articulate. They are ideal for all types of rock, blues, and metal.

Professional Features

The DK24 has additional design touches for professional performance. It features a no-load tone control that is removed from the circuit when rolled up to full, giving you a clear and transparent sound, letting the natural voice of the guitar shine through. Dial in your tone with the 5-way blade switch, master volume, and no-load tone control. The recessed Floyd Rose 1000 series double-locking tremolo bridge system provides improved sustain and intonation.
