Boss Katana 25 Combo Amp

Full Description

Authentic Katana tone with Tube Logic technology

Experience the expressive response of a valve amplifier through BOSS's advanced Tube Logic design philosophy. The Katana 25 combines a 25W reactive analogue power section with a custom eight-inch speaker, delivering rich bass, detailed highs, and punchy dynamics that respond naturally to your playing. Six distinctive amp characters with variations provide sounds ranging from sparkling cleans to powerful high-gain tones, alongside a dedicated acoustic-electric setting. Its optimised open-back cabinet helps produce a full, resonant sound while maintaining a compact, lightweight design for everyday practice.

Over 60 effects and versatile tone shaping

Explore a huge range of guitar sounds with more than 60 onboard BOSS effects, including the ability to use up to five simultaneously. From subtle enhancements to elaborate effect combinations, the Katana 25 provides plenty of opportunities for shaping your own sound. Dedicated Gain, Volume, Bass, Middle, and Treble controls make adjustments straightforward, while the Tone Setting section provides quick access to 20 ready-to-play presets and 10 empty memory slots. A built-in tuner and tap tempo function add further convenience during everyday practice sessions.

Bluetooth connectivity and interactive practice

Make practice more engaging with integrated Bluetooth connectivity and the dedicated Katana companion app. Stream music wirelessly from your smartphone or tablet and play along with your favourite songs through the amplifier. The app provides detailed sound editing, preset management, and access to BOSS Tone Exchange for discovering and sharing sounds. Its Session function also lets you explore YouTube songs and video lessons, with automatic Tone Setting changes during playback. These features bring together useful learning tools and extensive sound customisation in one convenient setup.

Flexible power settings and convenient recording

Enjoy expressive Katana tones at comfortable listening levels with the selectable Power Control function. Switch between the full 25W output and a 0.5W setting to experience driven amplifier sounds without excessive volume, making the Katana 25 particularly suited to home practice. A dedicated headphone output provides another option for quiet playing, while the class-compliant USB-C interface supports direct recording to computers and mobile devices. Optional footswitch and expression pedal compatibility adds hands-free control, helping you get more from your amplifier.
