Unlike many low-powered valve amplifiers that rely on single-ended designs, the DA5 Ruby features a genuine push-pull power stage driven by a 12BH7 power valve and ECC83 preamp valve. This delivers the feel, dynamics and responsiveness normally associated with much larger valve amplifiers, providing rich harmonic detail, exceptional touch sensitivity and satisfying natural compression. Combined with the custom Aldrich 50 loudspeaker, the result is impressive projection, authority and clarity far beyond what you would expect from a compact combo.

CabRig IR-based speaker simulation provides realistic cabinet, microphone and room emulation with three onboard user presets.
