As the name suggests, the Ampeg Venture V12 is built to be mobile! The smallest and lightest of the Venture series, the V12 can easily fit into gig bags and carry bags to keep your rig to a minimum of fuss. Despite its ultra-portable size, the V12 doesn't sacrifice any power! Its Class D amplifier boasts a mighty 1200 Watt output, enough to run virtually any cabinet a gigging bassist will encounter.

Preamp out / Power amp in

Ampeg has included a handy Preamp Out/Power Amp In feature on the V12, allowing you to take advantage of the onboard EQs and drive circuits when using other amplifiers. This allows you to use the Venture V12 as a preamplifier in combination with an external power amp, giving you access to both its tone-shaping capabilities as well as the power of a larger amp.

Venture V12 is a versatile tool for sculpting your ideal tone. Its legacy preamp provides a firm foundation, while a 3-band EQ with sweepable Mids grants you the ability to fine-tune your output. The amp's footswitchable "Super Grit Technology" Overdrive circuit, equipped with SVT and B15 voicings, adds another layer of character, allowing for the creation of warm, gritty tones. The Ampeg Venture V12 features a onboard variable compressor that's highly musical.
