This model features a pair of Broad'Tron humbucking pickups that have been designed especially for the Streamliner. They offer a high output, along with robust lows, pristine highs and a throaty midrange for a unique tone sits well in any mix. Thanks to this, you can easily achieve the perfect sound using the traditional control layout, featuring neck and bridge pickup volume controls, a master tone control, master volume control and three-way pickup switching.
An anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge is also included. It delivers a great tone and precise intonation with its six individually adjustable string saddles. This combined with its Bigsby vibrato tailpiece, slightly rocks with the movement of the strings- reducing friction and adding tuning stability.
The Gretsch G2420T Streamliner guitar's body has been sculpted from laminated maple, with a chambered construction, which offers a lightweight build that is perfect for gigging musicians who play quite frequently. A pair of classic 'F' sound holes are also featured. These allow the natural sound to be projected acoustically and provide a classic look that many guitarists associate with the 1950s era. Finally, a single-cutaway design allows players to easily reach the higher frets for full access across the whole fingerboard.
A white-bound nato neck, sculpted into a thin “U”-shaped profile, provides a comfortable performance, while the fast-playing rosewood fingerboard with elegant pearloid block inlays and twenty-two medium jumbo frets delivers a warm tone and natural feel.
