Constructed with a solid mahogany body and a set-thru 3-piece mahogany neck, the Sparrowhawk offers excellent sustain and resonance. The bound ebony fingerboard features 22 extra-jumbo frets and a comfortable scale length, providing smooth playability for both riffing and soloing.

The choice of macassar ebony for the neck works both for its fast action and smooth surface, as well as its hard-wearing properties. The mahogany neck and body join in a set-thru design to unleash soaring sustain that'll instantly elevate your playing. The TonePros locking TOM bridge and tailpiece only adds to the sustain, while also providing stability. Finally, since Mastodon's diversity takes them into diverse sonic territories, Bill needed a guitar that could handle it all- from pristine cleans though to grinding fuzziness.
