The Tour Custom shell pack is built from 6-ply, 5.6mm maple shells, delivering the warm and expressive sound that maple is known for. Notes project clearly with plenty of body, making the kit equally at home on stage and in the studio. Drawing inspiration from Yamaha's original Absolute Series, the shell construction balances punch, sustain, and sensitivity, helping you capture subtle dynamics as well as more powerful performances.
