This gives you the same expressive playability and depth found in top studios, making the V51 ideal for both home setups and live stages.

Wireless access to new sounds

Using the Roland Cloud Connect app, you can browse and download new drum kits, instrument expansions, and artist packs directly to the V51 over Wi-Fi. It’s quick, simple, and keeps your module feeling fresh. Up to six expansions can be active at once, and you can mix and match components to build kits that fit your playing style perfectly.

Studio tools built in

The V51 isn’t just for drumming—it’s also a creative production hub. Shape your sound with EQs, compressors, transient processors, and convolution reverb, all powered by Roland’s professional DSP engine. Whether you’re recording through USB-C or performing live, the module delivers a polished, ready-to-mix sound straight from the output.

With sample import, coaching functions, and app control, the V51 helps you develop your skills while keeping practice fun. The built-in metronome, Phrase Trainer, and Stroke Monitor let you track progress, while the V-Drums Play app gives you simple wireless control over kits and settings.
