Key Features
The Meinl Byzance Brilliant 18" Polyphonic Crash Cymbal is built for drummers after rich character and flexible tone across funk, fusion, rock and studio sessions. Its medium weight and hand-hammered B20 bronze design give it a unique, expressive voice, cutting through mixes with clarity while still delivering a warm, darker sound palette. The cymbal's brilliant finish isn't just for looks.
The specialised buffing process reduces the high-end response, creating a more controlled, mellow top while still retaining bright, shimmering overtones. This makes it ideal for dynamic players who need both clarity and warmth in a single crash. With medium sustain and a low-mid pitch, the 18" Polyphonic Crash works especially well in musical setups where space and tone need to stay balanced, never too sharp, never too washy.
