In order to make a powerful statement for their 140th anniversary, Gretsch constructed the USA 140 snare from ash wood which brings natural tones to life in an array of warmth, resilience and musicality. Despite its incredibly special meaning, this snare drum is much more than just a collector's piece and therefore bears the durability and reliability to take it on the road with you and show it off.
Limited to 140 pieces worldwide
Only 140 of these stunning snare drums exist worldwide, so they, of course, have to be well-protected. That's why a dedicated "140th" snare drum bag is included to maintain the snare in pristine condition. The bag features a soft fleece lining, a carry handle and an exterior material that fights off the elements whilst on the road. If that wasn't enough, a certificate of authenticity signed by the very Fred Gretsch himself and the factory artisans from Ridgeland S.C. is included to remind you just how unique and special this snare drum truly is.
