Snappy sound, perfect for any style. The DW 2000 pedal come with flyweight beaters that give you the flattest and quickest response possible. The flat beater surface means that a wider surface area hits the kick drum quicker than a rounded beater. This gives the sound a nice snappy quality. This is perfect for lots of pop music styles, hard rock, metal, or even hip hop. The versatility of these beaters set it apart from other kick drum beaters.
Coupled with the flat beater is the offset cam. The nautilus shape of the cam means that is quick snap towards the end of the full rotation of the pedal stroke. In simple terms, if you like to play with speed and accuracy, offset cams are the way to go.
