Reference Drums use a rotating combo of both 1.6mm and 0.9mm thick plies in its construction, whilst Reference Pure Drums use only 0.9mm thick plies.These drum sets are optimally engineered to produce the best possible sound from each individual drum. Taking into account the respective ranges of tone and diameter.
