The Roland MH2 PowerPly 22'' Mesh Head offers a low noise playing experience whilst retaining a fully dynamic feel. The PowerPly heads have a low volume output, making them ideal for use at home or with triggers. The head has a 2-ply design for a consistently tight response with little retuning needed. Despite being nearly silent, the MH2 still reacts organically to your drum beater. With the MH2, musicians can adapt their acoustic kit for module triggering, or just practise quietly in the home environment. This head is designed to fit 22'' diameter kick drums.

Created in a collaboration with Remo, the Roland MH2 series allows drummers to achieve a new range of possibilities. In many modern housing environments, drums can be too loud for regular practice. The MH2’s silent response eliminates this issue, allowing musicians to still practise on an acoustic kit without disturbing those around them. This design is also useful for musicians using the RT-30 drum triggers. By removing the natural drum sound you can achieve a clearer sample that isn’t distorted.
