Precision Metering
The TC Electronic Clarity M provides incredibly accurate visual metering that, in conjunction with your ears, allows you to achieve precise results when mixing and mastering. The 7'' high resolution screen makes the process of finding the optimum signal level for your channel significantly quicker and easier. Equipped with ultra-precise meters, the Clarity M ensures that you get the best out of your sound, providing you with a Real Time Analyzer (RTA) with a 1/3 octave resolution and individual band zoom, a detailed statistics overview, a state-of-the-art surround True-Peak meter, plus many more. The device can also display a radar loudness meter, showing you the short-term loudness history and momentary loudness of your audio.
Complete DAW Integration
The Clarity M can be seamlessly integrated with your choice of digital audio workstation. The device enables you to insert the routing plug-in of the Clarity M anywhere in your DAW, and achieve a crystal clear statistical display on your Clarity M. In the plug-in's GUI, you're able to toggle 'Follow Transport', 'Reset on Play', start/stop metering, and reset metering, as well as view the track number and track name that you are currently metering in your DAW. The Clarity M can be utilised in any DAW you desire, thanks to its plug-in metering support via all modern plug-in standards. This unique metering device and plug-in allows you to free-up screen real estate whilst still maintaining a permanent view of your metering tools via the Clarity M itself.
Wealth Of Connectivity
Included with the Clarity M, is a custom-designed breakout cable. This unique cable provides you with six channels of unbalanced AES3 digital audio, enabling you to efficiently connect to an external mixing desk, audio interface, or a console. This opens up the capability for broadcast-grade 5.1 metering, all from a single powerful unit. The breakout cable also allows you to connect a two button foot-switch for quick and easy meter resetting, or triggering play/pause moments, as well as providing you with a mini-jack socket for GPO, providing you with indication of peaks or overloading to external equipment. The Clarity M also features a stereo optical input, and a USB connection for plug-in metering, preset exchanging, and firmware updates.
Versatile Operation & Mounting
The Clarity M features an integrated stand for quick and easy positioning on your desktop. However, the back of the Clarity M also features two holes that enable use of third party mounting solutions, such as a RAM Mounts Tough-Claw or suction cup mount (these mounts must be purchased separately and are not included with the Clarity M). These mounting options allow the Clarity M to be conveniently mounted on microphone stands, poles, hard surfaces, tables, walls, and even ceilings. The versatile mounting options and powerful suite of dedicate stereo tools make the Clarity M the perfect metering extension for music production, mixing, and mastering. The device uses TC Electronics' industry-standard loudness algorithms to deliver a deviation meter that helps to avoid nasty mix-down surprises, whilst a correlation meter allows you to easily identify any phase issues or other anomalies. The Clarity M also features an RTA (Real Time Analyzer) that enables you to monitor frequencies outside of your hearing range, giving you the ability to quickly and easily find what could be causing unwanted mud in your mix.
