And with that plethora of sounds offered by 15 guitar amps, you’ll never get bored. Sweet cleans through to apocalyptic crunch, it’s all possible here! But it only gets better, as there are 8 ultra-musical effects that you can apply to extract some exciting tones. One circuit handles stompbox-style modulation, while the other introduces delays and reverbs to let you fine tune your sonics.

Shaping this sound couldn’t be easier. With the THR Remote app available for iOS and Android you can say goodbye to having to awkwardly crouch over your amp to shift some settings, now you can simply open the app on your smart device and sculpt your tone from afar.

Versatility at your command

So, it’s got a whole heap of great guitar tones, and it’s portable too, how could it get more versatile? Well, it can also be used for bass and electro-acoustics! That’s right, you’ve got several unique bass amp models, plus mic-models for acoustics. On top of that, there’s flat voicings without any modelling if you would just like to hear a purely dry tone. It’s an incredible variety of capability, and a true companion for the adventurous musician.

Don’t be tied down

You can play anywhere, anytime. The Yamaha THR30II wants you to enjoy your instrument in any surrounding. To that end, it’s light, compact and easy to carry with you. Backing that up is an internal battery that frees you up from searching for those elusive outlets! Boasting up to five hours of play time, you could practically get through a full set before needing to recharge.

So, you can ditch the power cord, but you can also free yourself from your guitar lead! Thanks to a built-in wireless receiver, you can rock out with nothing chaining you in place. An optional Line-6 G10T or Gt10II transmitter is all you need to cut out the cords and break free from the bonds.

Make some music

Practice makes perfect, and this is one great practice amplifier. But what about when you want to take the next step and create your own songs? Well, the THR30II comes equipped with a suite of features designed to get you recording. Firstly, the amp is USB Class Compliant so you can connect to a PC or Mac without having to install drivers, and secondly there’s stereo 1/4" line out to award you that extra flexibility for recording.

Completed with bundled Cubase AI and Cubasis LE software, you have access to a powerful editing program to bring your songs to life. For PC / Mac or iOS, you've got so many options to make your creations a reality! There's also Yamaha's Rec'n'Share app that can help you add backing tracks and start laying down some tracks.
