Key Features
Product Ref: 138643
The USTA takes a new approach to sequencing, allowing you to edit multiple voltage relationships on the fly. The introduction of variable stage duration allows you to get in-depth with the control on your voltages. It gives unprecedented control over your sequences, giving you the ability to individually set each single stage duration. This makes for some interesting sequencing results, resulting in complex, otherworldly patterns. It removes the constraints of the one-to-one ratio in relation to the clock.
The unique design features 16 push rotary encoders, for defining the value of each stage. You can then fine-tune and edit your settings through the modifier buttons. You can use the modifier buttons to transpose values or set multiple stages to the same value.
The 4x4 tracks configuration allows you to store and generate up to four separate voltages at every stage. The tracks are comprised of 16 patterns which in turn, are formed from 16 stages. This gives you exceptional control capabilities when it comes to your sequencing. Each stage possess two gates and two CVs. Each output is represented by “Layers” and the way the sequence is played can be modified by the “Colors” function.
The in-depth editing capabilities allow you to create a wide range of rhythms and patterns. The stage length spans between 0 and 16 units. The Time Ratio dictates the duration in relation to the clock tempo. You can set the clock mode to either internal or external, providing the means to set the individual tempo on each of the four tracks.
