Ready To Go
The Sylphyo is a standalone wireless electronic wind instrument with quality in-built sounds. Specially crafted to be used with the Sylphyo, these sounds have been designed to harness all of the instrument's possibilities. All of the sounds are designed to respond to breath control, similar to a traditional wind instrument. By combining the breath control with the slider and different inertial controls, you can completely customise the timbre of your sound.
Endless Possibilities
Designed to reproduce the natural airflow of an acoustic instrument, the Sylphyo allows you to achieve both the quietest and loudest dynamics. By using various sensors (breath, inertial, capacitive...), the Sylphyo can reproduce sounds with incredible accuracy. These types of sounds include staccato and legato playing, plus a variety of different tonguing techniques.
If you already play a wind instrument, then you can be sure the Sylphyo supports the correct fingerings. With over 40 different in-built fingering configurations, the Sylphyo supports fingerings for recorder, saxophone, flute, Trumpet (EVI), and oboe, to name a few. Thanks to the simple design, the Sylphyo can be played by anyone. Whether you are taking your first steps to learn a wind instrument, or are a seasoned professional, there are always new sounds and nuances to be learnt!
Interface Capabilities
Due to the Link receiver, the Sylphyo becomes a wireless instrument. The Link can be connected to your computer or MIDI synth and this will connect wirelessly to your Sylphyo - you can leave your Link in a different room and still communicate with your Sylphyo. The Link will also act as an interface for other MIDI instruments when connected through the inputs and you can make the most of the inbuilt sounds, which are regularly updated and available free of charge.
