The 4ms Tapographic Delay is a highly unique Eurorack delay module. Unlike conventional tap delays, you can use this module to set the tempo manually by hitting the touch-sensitive pad. The FSR (Force Sensing Resistor) pad is velocity-sensitive, allowing you to strike it repeatedly in a pattern to set your desired tempo. You can use the FSR pad to do everything from simply taping in your delay tempo, to creating delay patterns, velocity echoes and more. You can even assign the velocity to the amplitude of your delay, or even to the Low Pass/Band Pass filters.
The Tapographic Delays is ideal for a range of applications, from creating simple reverbs and echoes to patterned delays that bring a new flare to your input signals. Part of the modules design features a low pass and band pass filter, allowing you to shape your delay to your liking for added flexibility. The wide range of patch points and modulation control gives you full control over every aspect of your input signal. As well as being able to generate reverbs and delays, the Tapographic Delay can also do pitch shifting and bendy stretching delays for added versatility.
The streamlined yet sleek faceplate features an ergonomic layout with all parameters and patch points clearly annotated. The faceplate features six buttons for changing between modes and banks, as well as a range of controls including attenuators for Feedback, Modulation, Time, Level, Morph and Dry/Wet. There are dual three-position switches on either side of the for changing parameters, including one for Resonance, Amplifier and LPF. There are 12 patch points in total, including outputs for Modulation, Feedback, Audio, Velocity and more. There is also a single Audio input as well as Repeat and Delete buttons for triggering echoes.
