This model provides the iconic appearance, and tone of the original, with a smaller and more basic 'no-frills' design. The Les Paul Express guitar comes equipped with a pair of Epiphone Open Coil Humbuckers, which include a 700T at the bridge and a 650R at the neck position. This duo of Alnico pickups provides your model with excellent versatility that allows you to not only experiment with a wide variety of genres, but also lets you try and discover your own unique style. The open coil Humbuckers also deliver warm and vintage tones that are help make the Les Paul Express extremely responsive to these voicings.

This model's body has been crafted from mahogany, which gives the Les Paul Express a warm and resonant tone with great sustain, as well as plenty of depth.
