Get ready to experience unparalleled sound quality with the special edition dual delay pedal jointly developed by EVH and BOSS. This pedal is based on the legendary Roland SDE-3000 rackmount digital delay from the 1980s, which has been used by some of the greatest guitarists of all time - including the master himself!

The EVH Dual Delay includes eight presets with the exact settings from the two SDE-3000 delays in Eddie Van Halen’s live rig. These EVH presets are locked internally but allow for output level adjustments, giving you complete control over your sound. The versatile connectivity of this pedal lets you create an EVH wet/dry/wet rig and integrate with various mono and stereo setups, making it perfect for any modern setup.

Characterful modulation

The SDE-3000EVH Dual Digital Delay offers a distinctive modulation effect inspired by the original circuit design. This characterful modulation adds depth and dimension to your delay sound, providing a vintage touch that harks back to the glory days of rock and roll.

With each of the two delays featuring widely adjustable delay time with two range settings of 0–1500 ms and 0–3000 ms, you can easily customise the modulation effect according to your preference. Additionally, you get phase switches for the primary delay and delay feedback loop, which further enhances the modulation effect and adds a unique flavour to your guitar tone.

Selectable series or parallel operation

The SDE-3000EVH Dual Digital Delay allows you to operate the two delays in either series or parallel mode. In series mode, the output of Delay 1 feeds into the input of Delay 2, creating a cascading effect that produces a richer, more complex delay sound. This mode is ideal for creating atmospheric soundscapes and ambient textures.

On the other hand, in parallel mode, both delays operate independently, allowing you to blend their outputs to create a wider stereo image. This mode is great for producing a classic stereo delay sound, similar to what Eddie Van Halen used on stage.

Adjustable Noise Suppressor and assignable footswitch controls

The SDE-3000EVH Dual Digital Delay comes with an adjustable noise suppressor that helps eliminate unwanted noise and hum from your guitar signal. This feature ensures that your delay sound remains clean and clear, even at high gain settings, allowing you to focus on your playing without any distractions.

In addition, the pedal features assignable onboard footswitch controls that allow you to customise your delay sound. The tap tempo function lets you set the delay time by tapping on the footswitch, while the hold function allows you to capture and repeat a fragment of your playing for a unique effect.

You can also assign other functions to the footswitch, such as preset switching or bypassing the pedal, giving you complete control over your sound. Furthermore, the pedal provides jacks for extended operation with up to four footswitches, two expression pedals, or the GA-FC/GA-FC EX foot controller, allowing you to expand your setup and create a truly personalised rig.
