X Factor star to brush up on guitar skills
X Factor finalist Eoghan Quigg has stated that he would like to improve his guitar skills so he can compose more music.
The 16-year-old, who finished third in the last series of the hit ITV1 show, told Bang Showbiz that he is looking to get better on the music instrument over the next few months as he prepares for his second album.
"I don't really play that much, I can just play a few chords and stuff," he remarked. "But in summer I'll definitely learn the rest of it and get doing my own thing."
Quigg suggested that he does most of his song-writing on the guitar, although he generally does not play it much live.
The teenager's eponymous debut album was released on Monday (April 6th).
It features a host of covers, as well as first single 28,000 Friends, which was composed specifically for Quigg by Busted's James Bourne.
