Novation's Circuit Groovebox Receives Firmware Update 1.5
With the addition of this convenient window, you can now preview your Poly patches with the root, third and fifth notes in tow. The mono patch preview, on the other hand, lets you preview the tone directly from the root note.
Another new feature courtesy of the new firmware update is the Fractional Gate Sequencer. This Sequencer allows for pin-point precision and the ability to input pre-programmable staccato steps. With the potential for shortened note lengths and a more stab-like articulation, the gate functionality makes Circuit a more than competent sequencer for driving modular systems.
The new firmware update also now enables the Groovebox to send and receive MIDI, massively increasing the selection of tones and patches at your disposal. Accidental parameter changes are never fun. Even more so when you've spent hours fine-tuning your presets and tones. Thankfully, with this brand new MIDI send and receive feature you can turn your MIDI CC data on and off in order to prevent any accidental parameter changes. Not limited to the Groovebox, this new feature is also part of the Novation's brand new Circuit Mono Station meaning that you have the power to determine the specific MIDI data distributed between two seperate instruments.
Consistently enhancing their products based on the feedback of their online community, Novation continue to develop and improve their products. Circuit's previous update saw the Groovebox embrace its potential for creating complex and cross-rhythmic patterns by implementing a 'drum pattern length' parameter. This enabled users to adjust and modify patterns to their every want and need, whilst encouraging the creation of interesting rhythms and beats.
With a constant yearning for development, Novation continue to embelish their range of products with the latest technologies and advancements, improving the playing experience for musicians across the board.
