NAMM 2020 | Gibson has launched a Les Paul for Guns ‘n’ Roses legend and long-time Les Paul player Slash, the Slash Les Paul Standard.

Gibson and Slash have a long history, and the new 2020 Gibson Slash Les Paul Standard is here to celebrate that relationship. Based on the iconic Les Paul that Slash has used during his career, these guitars feature premium specifications and an array of Slash’s own design choices.

The new Slash Standard Les Paul features a AAA flamed maple top, solid mahogany body, and Slash’s own signature touches of a C-shape neck profile, Gibson “SlashBucker” pickups, colour-coordinated hardware, hand-wired electronics featuring Orange Drop capacitors, and a lovely vintage brown hardcase.

The guitar also comes with a unique “Skully” signature drawing on the back of the headstock, optional blank truss rod cover in the case, Slash’s new Ernie Ball strings, and four Jim Dunlop Slash plectrums!

Slash is due to be debuting these new guitars live at The NAMM Show, and we expect him to sound as fantastic as ever. The new Slash Les Paul and Limited-Edition versions are available in four (fantastically named) colours: November Burst, Appetite Amber, Vermillion Burst, and Anaconda Burst.
