NAMM 2020 | Apogee Symphony Desktop Audio Interface
NAMM 2020 | Are Apogee racked with guilt? No, this is the Symphony Desktop Audio Interface
Previously only available as rack, not only have Apogee made this a desktop unit, but they have put it at a price point that opens the ‘Symphony sound’ to a whole new audience.
“The most affordable Symphony ever” - Apogee
This not only promises flagship sound quality; it is more accessible than any Symphony product before it!
Those familiar with the Symphony line will be familiar with its beautiful, clear, and uncoloured sound. And those who are not? You will hear why the AD/DA converters are the best, why the pre-amps are stellar and why in 2020, we are being spoilt as recordists and engineers.
There is a huge 75dB of clean gain available from the two pre-amps. They are crisp, powerful, and won't add unwanted noise to your signal chain. Plus, they can be coloured by the incredible mic pre emulations.
There are also variable impedance settings for the mic and instrument inputs. These are particularly useful and help you get the most out of your mics. But that's not all Apogee crammed in...
Recording (and consequently mixing) is also made easier. The DSP available from the Apogee Symphony Desktop lets you get your tone right BEFORE you hit record! This makes post processing much simpler; we don't think anyone is going to be complaining about that! But if you don't like working in that way, you can always add these plug-ins later on in your DAW.
Not only is the Symphony desktop sleek in design, it is compact and can easily fit in to your bag when you’re on the move. The dynamic touch screen makes light, stress-free work of editing your sounds as well as giving you a beautiful feedback display.
Nothing touches it at £1,299.00 and it's available to order now!
