AKAI MPC One Standalone Production Device

AKAI Professional has just announced the MPC One, a new standalone production device which puts the iconic features of the MPC family into a more compact unit.

The AKAI Professional MPC One gives producers and beatmakers the same ability to create music without a computer as the rest of the iconic MPC family. Despite its more compact form factor, the MPC One has a huge array of performance features, powered by a premium AKAI Professional multi-core processor for the most demanding of producers.

Like the rest of the MPC family, the MPC One offers a thoroughly intuitive and hands-on workflow. Controlled by a glorious 7-inch multi-touch interface and touch key layout, it creates the same premium user experience we’ve come to expect from every MPC. As AKAI says, the MPC One is, “engineered to enrich your workflow and create the ultimate standalone production experience.”

Users will be able to get hands-on with 16 velocity-sensitive RGB pads and wide array of performance controls. Other features include Splice direct integration via network connections, CV/Gate connectors for external gear, 2GB of pre-loaded drum samples and loops, premium synth engines (Electric, Tubesynth, Bassline), as well as the world-class AIR FV for mixing and mastering.

The AKAI Professional MPC One offers a compact and more accessible entry-point into the MPC family. Despite its compact dimensions, this is still very much a premium MPC product from AKAI.
