Just as The NAMM Show 2019 was beginning to unwind, Behringer surprised us with a new product!  The Behringer Crave is a new semi-modular analog synthesizer with a highly accessible price-tag.

The first day of the Winter NAMM Show always promises a bonanza of new gear, product launches, and exciting news. Behringer, though, has bucked the trend and saved one of its most exciting new products for the last day of the show - talk about a great way to get noticed!

The Behringer Crave is a semi-modular analog synthesizer offering a lot of functionality for a very reasonable price (expected to be €150 on release). Featuring a "radical new synthesizer approach", the Crave blends elements from popular synth designs to give users a great set of sounds to experiment with.

The Crave features a 3340 Prophet 5 VCO design (from the Neutron, Pro One etc.) with a classic Moog Ladder filter. With its semi-modular design, users can easily make new connections and patch in external Eurorack gear, while the built-in modern sequencer and arpeggiator provides the ability to make music standalone. As Behringer says, "what more could you want?"

Behringer's recent move to its new $100m super-factory - MusicTribe City in China - has resulted in a large range of new product releases and the ability to price them even more competitively. The new Behringer Crave is clear evidence of this new, streamlined, state-of-the-art production line. With its rugged build and large feature-set, the Crave offers outstanding value for money.

Priced at just $199 USD, the Crave offers an affordable addition to your setup, providing real analog sounds based on premium synths from recent decades. Joining a raft of exciting new synth products from Behringer, the Crave is "sure to be a superb addition to any synth enthusiast's setup."
